Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder🎀

Hey Everyone!!!

I’m going to be reviewing the “Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder” today. This product is going to be part of my makeup regimen for long now.Why you  ask?Read on:)

The Packaging/Product

This is an ultra-light weight powder with micro-refined silica.Any of you wondering what Silica does?Uhm,it basically adheres to the skin making the makeup last longer, absorbing oil and improving the smoothness.

What the product claims to do?

Set the under eye concealer and instantly brighten up the under eye area.Ideal for all skin types.

How I use it?

I use this to brighten up my under eye area.

Flat brush

Beauty Blender

•So I take a damp beauty blender or a flat brush on which I spray a little bit of the Mac Fix Plus(I like to use the Real technique brush)

•I then dip it into the product and dab underneath my eye area

•I let it set/bake for about 10 minutes while I finish the rest of my makeup

•I then take a round fluffy setting brush(I use the Real Technique Setting Brush)and brush it off

Pros:

image

1)Yes!it does brighten the under eyes when you allow it to set under your eyes for sometime

2)Gives a nice smooth/silky finish

3)You don’t have to worry about white powder lines showing in flash photography

4)Doesn’t change the color of the concealer

5)Doesn’t crease

Cons

image

1)Can get a little messy when you try and get the product out of the container,so use sparingly

2)The other downside is the price and the amount you get for it

Price:25$

Verdict:Definitely hands down a great setting product!
